When are cards scanned?
Monday to Friday · 0 to 23 h
What each card measures
| Metric | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Scans | How often the card was opened from its QR code or NFC chip |
| Visits and unique visitors | Every opening, links included, and how many different people saw it each day |
| Saved contacts | How many people added the contact to their phone and what share of visits that is |
| Shares | How often the card was shared from a phone |
| Buttons tapped | Whether they call, message on WhatsApp, send an email, open the website, the map or social media |
| Visit sources | Whether they came from the QR code, NFC, a direct link, a shared message or the email signature |
| Approximate location | Country and city of each visit, without storing IP addresses |
| Device and system | Phone, tablet or computer, and its system (iPhone, Android, Windows…) |
| Day and time | Heat map by weekday and hour, in your company's time zone |
Per person and for the whole company
The dashboard overview gathers the whole company's activity: daily visits and saved contacts, where visits come from and a ranking of the people with the most scans, visits, saved contacts and shares. You can look at the last 7, 30 or 90 days or the last 12 months.
Each person's page has the same dashboard for their card only (last 90 days) and their recent activity, so you know how each salesperson or event performs.
What it helps you with
- Find out which salespeople, trade shows or events bring the most saved contacts.
- Compare channels: the printed card with a QR code, the NFC chip, the link sent on WhatsApp or the email signature.
- See whether your customers prefer to call, message on WhatsApp or visit the website.
- Discover at what times and in which cities your cards are scanned most.
- Decide where to invest based on data, not hunches.
Privacy of the people who scan
Analytics never store visitors' IP addresses: each visitor is counted with an identifier that changes every day and doesn't reveal who they are, and the location is approximate, at city level.
Bots, visits repeated within a few minutes and your own visits while signed in to the dashboard are not counted. Data is hosted in the European Union.
How to start measuring
- Create your team's cards in NexoCard AI.
- Print the QR codes, write the NFC chips and share the links: each channel is measured separately.
- Open the dashboard overview or each person's page and choose the period you want to analyze.
Frequently asked questions
Are analytics included in the plan?
Yes. Analytics are included in every plan, from Independent Professional to Business Full, at no extra cost.
What is the difference between scans and visits?
Scans are openings from the QR code or the NFC chip. Visits also include direct links, shared messages and the email signature.
Are the IP addresses of people who scan stored?
No. Each visitor is counted with an identifier that changes every day, and the location is approximate, at city level.
Can I see each person's analytics?
Yes. Besides the company overview, each person's page shows their scans, visits, saved contacts, shares and buttons tapped for the last 90 days, with their recent activity.
Are my own visits to the cards counted?
No. While you are signed in to the dashboard your visits are not counted, so they don't inflate the data.
